It was founded in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), India in 1958 but was initially launched by the name of Subah Savere in 1965 and after renaming it multiple times the name Dainik Bhaskar was finalized. Its Chairman and Managing Director are Mr. Ramesh Chandra Agarwal and Mr. Sudhir Agarwal.Mr. Yatish K Rajawat is the founding editor.It is flagship paper of Dainik Bhaskar group (DBG) and is being published by D B Corp Ltd. It is circulated in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh with 36 editions.
Apart from offering numerous supplements keeping in mind readers interests and taste the group has launched other newspapers like Business Bhaskar, the first business daily in Hindi, Prabhat Kiran, DB Star and magazines like Lakshya for youth, Bal Bhaskar for children, and Aha! PSU have a lot role to play in the stability of these markets as they are the prime employment provider in these markets. These towns and changes therein define the country.”
